The Ministry of Health and Human Services of Southwest State, in partnership with stakeholders, has strengthened health systems through the EPHS, despite challenges in its implementation. Lessons from past health strategies and ongoing reforms guide improvements, with EPHS 2020 focusing on reducing disease burdens among vulnerable groups. The Ministry remains committed to advancing health policies and enhancing public health functions, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.
